Pulmonologists are specially trained in diseases and conditions of the chest, particularly pneumonia, asthma, tuberculosis, Pulmonary hypertension, emphysema, and complicated chest infections.

Pulmonology is considered a branch of internal medicine, and is related to intensive care medicine. Pulmonology often involves managing patients who need life support and mechanical ventilation. Pulmonary rehabilitation has been defined as multidimensional continuum of services directed to persons with pulmonary disease and their families, usually by an interdisciplinary team of specialists, with the goal of achieving and maintaining the individual’s maximum level of independence and functioning in the community. 1. ಅಸ್ತಮಾ (Asthma) ಎಂದರೇನು?

ಅಸ್ತಮಾ ಒಂದು ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲಿಕ ಉಸಿರಾಟದ ಕಾಯಿಲೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದು, ಉಸಿರಾಟದ ನಾಳಗಳು ಉದ್ದಿಯಾದಾಗ, ಉರಿಯೂತದಿಂದ ಉಸಿರಾಟ ತೊಂದರೆ ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಧೂಳು, ದಪ್ಪು, ಸೌಂಧ್ಯವಸ್ತು ಅಥವಾ ವ್ಯಾಯಾಮದಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗಬಹುದು.

2. ಅಸ್ತಮಾ ಗುಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆಯೆ?

4. COPD ಗುಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆಯೆ?

6. ಅಲರ್ಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಸ್ತಮಾ ಸಂಬಂಧವಿದೆಯೆ?

ಹೌದು. ಅನೇಕ ಅಸ್ತಮಾ ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಲರ್ಜಿ ಕೂಡಾ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಲರ್ಜಿ ಉಂಟಾದಾಗ ಉಸಿರಾಟದ ನಾಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉರಿಯೂತ ಉಂಟಾಗಿ ಅಸ್ತಮಾ ಉಲ್ಬಣವಾಗಬಹುದು.

ಹೌದು. ಧೂಮಪಾನವೇ COPD ಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕಾರಣ. ದಿನಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗರೇಟು ಅಥವಾ ಬೀಡಿಯ ಸೇವನೆಯು ಉಸಿರಾಟದ ನಾಳಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಯಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಾನಿಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
